ABOUT jeremy

Jeremy Sear is a former barrister whose practice is now focused exclusively on family law. He is committed to helping clients navigate the challenges of separation and divorce in a cost-effective and timely manner. Jeremy was admitted to practice as a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria in November 2002. He was for seven years a barrister at the Victorian Bar. He now assists clients in all matters connected with Family Law, including

  • Separation
  • Divorce
  • Property and Financial Settlements
  • Binding Financial Agreements
  • Children and Parenting Orders
  • Child support and Child maintenance
  • Spousal Maintenance
  • Same Sex relationships
  • Relocation cases
  • Intervention Orders

Jeremy recognises that the circumstances of each family law matter are unique and require a careful, targeted approach. Sometimes more subtle, conciliatory avenues can be extremely effective – but if the enforcement powers of a court are necessary, Jeremy’s advocacy experience as a barrister is invaluable in obtaining for clients the best results in the most efficient way.
