Kylie holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours, and a Bachelor of Business majoring in Banking and Finance from the Queensland University of Technology. She has also completed her Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accountancy. She was admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 2000. She is currently a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
In 1998, Kylie commenced articles in a suburban legal practice in Brisbane where she gained broad experience in most general law areas including Family Law, Wills and Estates, and Commercial law. In 2001 Kylie moved to a Brisbane City firm where she became an Associate and she worked predominantly in the areas of Family Law, Business Succession and Estate Planning.
Kylie moved to Melbourne in early 2006 and handles a variety of matters including financial matters involving individuals, companies and family trusts.
In addition, Kylie is experienced in providing advice regarding the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney and acting for Executors in applications for grants of representation for Probate and Letters of Administration.
Given Kylie’s experience in commercial and estate matters, she can competently advise in the area of estate planning, and handle the administration of both simple and complex deceased estates.
