John joined Mahons as a Senior Associate in 1988. He practises extensively in the commercial, criminal, family and general litigation areas.

In addition, John practises in non-litigious general legal areas. He acts for a large client base of retailers in regional shopping complexes.

John prides himself in his practical and cost saving approach to problem solving. Because of John's extensive experience, he has available to him immediate contact with highly experienced barristers if and when the need arises.

Sally Jager is a Professional Counsellor in the areas of relationships, trauma and occupational workplace counselling, and has worked in the legal profession since 1971, primarily in the area of family law, involving complex family law matters.

She has an enviable reputation as an excellent negotiator and mediator and has developed a large personal following. Due to her personal style and approach, she has been responsible for the resolution of many difficult and antagonistic matrimonial and defacto disputes without resorting to litigation.

Sally deals with all manner of family law property matters, including children's issues, de facto property matters, spousal maintenance, child support and children's maintenance matters.
