MAHONS WITH YUNCKEN & YUNCKEN LAWYERS OFFERS A FULL RANGE OF LEGAL SERVICES FOR ALL FAMILY LAW MATTERS, WHICH ARE DEALT WITH IN A SYMPATHETIC & PROFESSIONAL MANNER.
Mahons with Yuncken & Yuncken Lawyers are proud of our Family Law section’s full-service approach to our family law clients.
Our aim is to help your experience of separation and divorce be as painless as possible and to establish the best possible legal foundation for you as you go forward.
Sound advice from the outset makes a significant difference to your eventual outcome. We find that after being properly heard (often after many years), clients often feel relieved and empowered after learning how the family law applies to their situation and receiving proper advice as to what avenues are likely to lead to the best results.
Our family law practitioners can advise when negotiation and mediation are likely to be constructive and successful – and when those avenues are not appropriate, and a firmer approach is required. If the assistance of a court is necessary, we can advise when and how that can be best managed, in a timely and cost-effective way.
Our family law team has many years’ experience of both negotiating appropriate and constructive resolutions, and also in fearlessly representing clients in the conduct of matters litigated in the Family Law Court and Federal Circuit Court. Before joining our firm, our senior family lawyer Mr Jeremy Sear was a barrister at the Victorian Bar with extensive court experience. He sits on several committees of the Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria. Our senior family law paralegal, Ms Sally Jager, also has counselling training and combines this expertise with many years’ experience assisting clients through the family law process.
We also provide professional advice to parties who have negotiated agreements amongst themselves before coming to lawyers, and can prepare the appropriate documentation to formalise such arrangements so that you have peace of mind going forward.
